"They. Creators of the XX and XXI centuries" offers a vision of art conceived by women of the twentieth century, works conceived in different technical supports.

The exhibition features 39 works of different techniques and 28 women artists.

The nationalities of the authors makes this show even more complete and above all different types of techniques, from drawing to painting, to photography, sculpture, video art and installations.

"They. Creators of the XX and XXI centuries" is displayed in the Hall of Columns of Almudí September 3 to November 2, 2014

The presence of women in the treaties of the twentieth century art above was very low, for cultural reasons and limited access to education.

During the first half of the twentieth century artists remain marginalized, except those who can fit within any of the avant-garde movements.
