The Department of Equality, headed Alicia Barquero, scheduled courses for Women 76 centers, continuing the commitment of the government team to make these spaces meeting points where personal development is favored women.
Through the various workshops offered, the more than 20,000 members that give life to the centers can improve their integration into the labor market, further their personal development and strengthen knowledge on issues of basic interest.
In the coming months they will catch up with new technologies and learn two levels of computer and internet as well as the management of social networks;
were also given the option to take courses in geriatric assistant, home care, school transportation aid, laughter therapy, intellectual skills, encourage reading and understanding of heritage.
For this course are proposed 75 courses among which the access to new technologies, health assistants and early intervention.
They are free of charge.
The Centers for women are a training and meeting space for women, which are open to participation by all to consolidate and make a reality increasingly egalitarian society and fairer day.
The network of women continue to contribute to increasing the maximum participation of our neighbors.
In this regard, the Department works to achieve greater social sensitivity in relation to equal opportunities for men and women.
Improving the educational level of women, socio-cultural programs aimed at the most neglected sectors towards modifying social and cultural patterns of male and female behavior, with a view to achieving the elimination of prejudices and customary practices based on inferiority or superiority of either of the sexes or on stereotyped roles for men and women.
Workshops early stimulation
On the other hand, the council directed Alicia Barquero prepared early stimulation workshops for parents of children between 3 and 36 months, to be held in the women's centers Corvera Lobosillo and Santa María de Gracia.
These workshops, which are structured in 12 sessions of two hours each, are included in the training program that takes place in schools as an initiative lead to personal training for women who come to the centers and as a way of involving the parental care and family responsibilities.
This is guide both mothers and fathers about the care and attention for the optimal development of children between 3 and 36 months, and provide a space for contact and coordination with professionals in primary health care.
Training entrepreneurs
Another workshop that stand for the course now starts the training is aimed at entrepreneurs and women entrepreneurs.
Taught by OMEP, aims to provide an economic and financial aid to women interested, to enable them to improve productivity culture.
These courses are held at the Municipal Initiatives Center (CIMM) from October.
