Environment eliminate eight dead tomorrow catalpas North Round (25/07/2014)

The Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, will take place tomorrow removing a total of eight North catalpas Round, which are in poor condition.

According to the report of the Technical Environment after routine inspections, we have detected the presence of eight specimens which have numerous wounds by mechanical damage have led to decay of dead tissue.

This has caused a weakness and instability in the trunks of the same, by exercising lateral force on them.

The poor state of the eight external catalpas suggests technicians supporting the roots of these specimens are also damaged.

Given the danger that would follow those trees in northern bypass, the Department of Environment has decided to remove the copies and replace mulberry trees.
