In order to provide smaller alternative leisure and free time during the summer days, the Museum of the City, as well as other museums in the city of Murcia, is developing a program of activities to develop July and August.
"A Summer Museum" at the Museum of the City is developing the following activities:
Mysteries Museum (children's workshop)
This initiative aims at children 6 to 10 years to enjoy some time at the Museum, discovering the hidden mysteries of the hand of historical protagonists.
40 places in two sessions.
The workshop aimed at younger is developing its first meeting right now with a full registration (20 children).
This workshop is being developed right now.
A summer comic at the Museum (junior workshop)
Discloses the origin of the comic and its evolution to the present day through a selection of Museum publications edited in this format.
Aimed at young people 12 to 16 years.
40 places in two sessions.
This workshop has been attended by 12 children.
Sundials (children's workshop)
Younger know the history and use of the sundial.
They will study the types of watches kept in shrines, churches and tower-houses in the municipality of Murcia.
Aimed at children aged 9-12 years.
30 places in two sessions.
This workshop was designed in a single session.
Participants were a total of 15 children.
