The president of the Centre against Domestic and Gender Violence, María Ángeles Carmona, today delivered the closing lecture of the academic year of the School of Labor Practice at the University of Murcia.
María Ángeles Carmona, who is also a member of the General Council of the Judiciary (GCJ), spoke at the conference of the social perception of gender violence and the importance of the media both in making visible this scourge as in creating stereotypes associated with it.
During the ceremony, held in Convalescence and chaired by the President of the University, José Orihuela, diplomas to students who have completed the general course of professional practice were given.
The event also featured the assistance and intervention of the President of the High Court of the Region of Murcia and member of GCJ, Juan Martínez Moya;
Dean of the Faculty of Science of Labour, José Luján;
director of the School of Labor Practice, Guillermo Rodríguez, and the president of the College of Social Graduates of Murcia, José Ruiz.
