The PSOE asked in plenary developing a Transparency Ordinance before the end of 2014 (21/07/2014)

The Socialist Party spokesman, Pedro López, defend in Parliament this month a motion asking the local government that a working group be constituted with the presence of the political formations of the Corporation and experts to prepare, before the end of this year of an Ordinance of Transparency and Access to Information.

Lopez stressed the importance of starting as soon as possible an ordinance you should have been working, as it is a social demand that has led to the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) for approval of an ordinance type that will serve as a guide for councils to adapt to the obligations contained in the new legislative framework on transparency.

Socialist spokesman in plenary will also request the publication on the website of the City property registration and activities of all members of the Corporation, as well as the implementation of a system that allows the transmission of the plenary through the Red and subsequent storage on the municipal website.

"There are some measures that have been proposed along this legislature to move towards a more transparent City Council and the local PP has rejected" lamented Lopez, who has re-emphasized the need to write this sooner municipal regulations, as it has done Zaragoza.

Lopez also mentioned some points that does not contain the type of the FEMP ordinance and should consider which is developed by the municipality of Murcia, among them the publication of the number of trade and institutional released, the annual amount of protocol expenses, allowances and travel expenses, benefits such as mobile phones, cars, credit cards or free or in municipal grants, identity contractors annually exceed $ 3,000, and the list of bills amounting to over 500 euros audited and accounted for by the council, etc..

"We have an obligation to take urgent action to break the serious crisis of credibility that crosses political and suspicion with which citizens look at public institutions," concludes the Socialist spokesman.
