The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, in one of the monitoring established under the 'Plan of police response to the theft of copper wiring', has managed to thwart the culmination of a burglary in a neighborhood of the village of Murcia Gea and Truyols and arrested two suspects, besides recovering all the stolen copper, about 130 kilos, which have already been returned to its rightful owner.

The performance took place during last Tuesday, the 15th, when civil guards ROCK Team Torre Pacheco coordinated with other patrols of public safety in the same town established a device in preventing the commission of theft in both agricultural and livestock farms and facilities copper wire.

Employing security measures to prevent their escape, the policemen identified the two occupants of tourism and inspected inside, where large amount of copper wire was found, as well as tools used for subtraction of the same, so we proceeded the arrest and subsequent remand in custody of the two occupants of the vehicle on suspicion of felony burglary.

The effects stolen 130 kilograms of copper wire, and the tools and the vehicle used in the commission of the robbery were seized and brought to justice.

Copper has been returned to its owner.

The final destination of stolen copper wire, which part of which had been burned to separate plastic insulation to avoid identification, was given up in junkyards.

Detainees two Spaniards, 33, residents of Murcia and Cartagena, and one with many backgrounds, effects seized and the proceedings have been brought before the Magistrate's Court in Murcia.
