The Plaza Miguel Angel Blanco Bacons Bridge has been the scene of the tribute that was made this morning to mark the seventeenth anniversary of the kidnapping and murder of the PP councilor Miguel Angel Blanco in Ermua at the hands of the terrorist group ETA.
Councillors of the Municipal People María del Carmen Pelegrin, Nuria Fuentes and Maria Dolores Sanchez and Councilman Ruben Juan Serna UPyD participated in the event which consisted of a wreath and a minute of silence in the square Michelangelo White Bacons Bridge.
The tribute has joined the president of the Municipal Council of the town, Enrique Cano, residents of the hamlet and Members of the Association of Victims of Terrorism.
María del Carmen Pelegrin stressed that "this act Murcia want to remind the rest of the population that Michelangelo White lives on in our memory and representing individual freedom for which no one deserves to be murdered.
The message at the heart of every citizen is to support all the families of those killed at the hands of the terrorist group ETA. "
The districts of The Garres, Valladolises, Monteagudo, and Neighborhood Progress Lobosillo have a street named Miguel Angel Blanco.
