The opening night of the Museo de Santa Clara, which programs the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, and continues this Thursday, is being well attended to cover the quota provided for the two sessions last week.
The Director General of Cultural Property, Carmen Batres, attended the premiere of this initiative, part of the programming cycle 'Culture summer.
Summer culture 'and emphasized that "it is a unique opportunity for those who spend the summer in the city occupy their leisure time differently and come to our network of museums from an amazing new perspective."
Participants enjoyed under the moonlight, a guided tour inside the Museum of Santa Clara, which houses an impressive collection of art and archeology Andalus, along with a section of religious art visit where you can see the vicissitudes of daily life and culture of the religious community.
The other big attraction of this activity is in the building that houses the Museum, one of the most iconic and singular of Murcia and retains a great example of the Andalusian gardens.
These Hispano gardens, the visitor finds himself everything that can provide pleasure to the senses: sight for the color, light and shadow;
to smell, aromatic plants or the scent of flowers;
ear, the sound of water and the song of birds;
for touch, the different textures of the resources that are as vegetation, water, adobe and tile;
and taste, the taste of the fruit.
The night Santa Clara Museum visits will be repeated every Thursday in July, at 22:00 and 22:30 hours.
