The University of Murcia will from now on an Advisory Committee for Excellence, which has been lodged today in the building of convalescence and shall consist of the president, José Orihuela, and the five exrectores of this educational institution.
This fulfills one of the promises Orihuela made during the election campaign that took him to the Rector of the University.
At this inaugural meeting, which has signed the minutes of launching the new body, attended, along with Orihuela, Jose Antonio Lozano, Juan Roca, Juan Monreal, and José Antonio José Ballesta Cobacho.
The Advisory Committee of Excellence build on the experience and knowledge of exrectores to advise and report on university issues and strategic or specific interest to the institution.
Participation may be produced either by consulting the Chancellor or exrectores own initiative.
