The Faculty of Economics and Business has welcomed today the launch of "Sociology and Economics", which has published the publishing of the University of Murcia (Editum) as a tribute to Professor of Sociology and former rector of the institution Juan Monreal.

The project, coordinated by Professor Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of Murcia Pedro Sanchez Vera, features contributions from teachers of this institution and professors from the universities of Alicante, Granada, Autónoma de Madrid and Complutense.

In the presentation of the book, plus teacher Monreal, intervened the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela;

former rector of this José Antonio Cobacho, and the dean of the faculty, Pilar Montaner.

Also, together with the coordinator of the work, the director of the Department of Sociology and Social Work, Juan Ortín;

Professor at the Complutense University of Madrid Julio Iglesias de Ussel and the University of Alicante Oltra Benjamin Martin de los Santos, who has personal and professional profile of the honoree.
