Murcia will have a voice in the VII International Congress of Business and Foreign Trade Jerez (18/06/2014)

The city of Murcia, Murcia project through the International City (MIC), may participate in one of the round tables of the VII International Congress of Business and Trade to be held in Jerez from 18 to 20 June.

This meeting aims to bring the latest developments in foreign trade, share experiences through workshops, and make contacts among the more than 60 guests from different countries.

In particular will be Councilman Institutional Relations of the City of Murcia, Joaquín Moya-Angeler, as promoter of the project Murcia International City, who will attend a roundtable on Friday the 20th, at 11.30 am.

The topic will be "The international marketing of cities", along with representatives of municipalities of Medellín (Colombia), the Latin American Union of Municipal (UIM), and Jerez de la Frontera.

Moya-Angeler will release the more than 300 attendees Murcia International City program launched to promote the city internationally, making it known as a benchmark for investments, actions to boost foreign trade companies in Murcia and attractions tourism, among other related issues.

Councilman addition will have the opportunity to establish relationships through scheduled meetings in Congress with foreign and domestic entrepreneurs, revealing the city of Murcia from the commercial and tourist perspective to these countries as Chile, Costa Rica, India, United States, Arab, Morocco, Romania, and Cameroon Emirates, among others.

This will release the action taken so far framed within the MIC, such as twinning with different countries like China and Mexico, in addition to present some of the innovations that will take place next month, and that will place the name of Murcia internationally.

Another speaker of interest will be the diplomatic Inocencio Arias, an international conference organized by Acocex and will be closed by the Labor Minister Fatima Banez.
