The University of Murcia yesterday presented prizes Regional VIII Olympiad of Classical Languages, organized by the Spanish Society of Classical Studies in collaboration with the educational institution.
In the form of Latin, the first prize went to Tamara Palazón Jiménez, the IES Felipe de Borbon of Ceuta, while the Greek was to Noelia Bernabeu Torreblanca, IES Infante Don Juan Manuel.
Students were also awarded Torralba Guillermo González, IES Alfonso X the Wise, and Adrian Ayala Salmerón, IES Felipe de Borbón, in Latin, and Francisco Lorente Arnaldos of ceutiense institute in Greek.
The handover took place at the Chamber of Arts and was chaired by the dean of the faculty, Pascual Cantos;
the director of the Seneca Foundation, Antonio González, and the president of the Spanish Section of Classical Studies, Professor Maria Teresa Beltran.
