The project of access to water to the inhabitants of the village of Las Casitas El Salvador, Aguas de Murcia Partnership Award (16/06/2014)

Once again, Emuasa, committed to society, contest prizes awarded Aguas de Murcia Solidarity, which has now reached its fifth edition.

The aim of these awards is none other than to help facilitate access to essential goods and services for life in those countries where they are needed.

The competition, as in previous editions, will have a budget of 10,000 euros for the NGOs that wins, in this fifth edition has been Alliance solidarity with their project "Access to water rights of the inhabitants of the village of Las Casitas ( El Salvador).

The presence of the local partner Pro-Life Chalatenango department for over 15 years, allows for an update on the reality of life in the intervention municipalities proposed for this knowledge.

Following this closeness with the people and communities have been mainly management Caserio Las Casitas water system.

It has done the feasibility study and capacity, positive results to be built this system and solve a vital problem for the families of this village.

The presentation of the check to the winning NGO was chaired by the councilors of Environment and Education, Adela Martinez-Cache and Maria Dolores Sánchez;

Direct General de Aguas de Murcia, José Albaladejo and Communications Director, Rafael Gomez.

- Vicente Ferrer Foundation.

In previous years he has managed the implementation of the following projects:

- In 2009, "Enhancement conditions of access to water of 2,900 people (1,660 women and 1,240 men) from the town of Niévrare, in the commune of Toress Boer, Wilaya of Trarza, Mauritania" by Assembly of Cooperation for Peace.

- In 2010 the winner was Engineers Without Borders, the "Same Hydrosanitary District Program: Strengthening the sustainability of water and sanitation services in communities Njora, Vumari and Ishinde, Tanzania" project

- In 2011 the winner was the second time, Assembly of Cooperation for Peace with the "Improving food security of the citizens Djonaba commune in the province of Maghta Lahjar, Brankna region, Mauritania" project, benefiting 2,521 people directly and 12,562 indirectly.

- In 2012, International Solidarity, with its project "Improving the quality of life of Afro-Colombian communities affected by the armed conflict in the department of Cauca, Colombia" was chosen as the winner of the fourth edition.

The project is part of a comprehensive intervention that Colombia Solidarity International has been conducting in Barrio La Paz (Township of The Straits Township Patia) since 2011.
