Chamber inaugurates monument that pays tribute to Murcia farmer (12/06/2014)

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, opened this evening the new Agriculture Monument, a work signed by Flyppy (sculptors Ismael Ramirez and Javier Cerezo Borgoñós Masso) whose forms, made of steel and glass, reminiscent of a farmer who exports to the world agricultural product in the region.

The ceremony was also attended by representatives of six athanks organizations: Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruit and Agricultural Products (Apoexpa), the Agrarian Association of Young Farmers (Asaja), the Coordinator of Organizations of Farmers and Ranchers (COAG), the Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Murcia (Fecoam), the Association of Producers and Exporters of Fruits, Vegetables in the Region of Murcia (Proexport) and the Union of Small Farmers (UPA) and BMN-Cajamurcia

The idea to honor Murcia farmers left the group a few months of review Spectators, who managed numerous accessions to the project and the support of the Regional Assembly through an official statement signed by all three political groups makes.

Therefore, he concluded Camera is fair to recognize its real heroes and the contribution they have made in creating jobs and wealth in the region.

The authors

Ismael is formed Flyppy Cherry (Murcia, 1967) and Borgoñós Javier (Murcia, 1968).

Ismael met the Mallorcan glass through Pere Ignasi, when I had a long experience with iron.

In Palma de Mallorca this happen to two years -1992 and 1993 - in his workshop in S'Hostalot, where they began to mix in joint iron and glass creations.

On his return to Murcia, Ismael opened workshop and continued to work with glass.

Since 1997 is joined by Javier Borgoñós coming from artistic endeavors such as photography (University of Murcia) and film (La Havana, Cuba) for further development and between the animal facility that has become so characteristic.
