IU-Greens Ros requires that "once for all" provide information on the new plant Cañada Hermosa local groups (11/06/2014)

IU-Greens in the city of Murcia today demanded the mayor street cleaning, Jose Ros, who celebrate "once and for all" the briefing promised to provide information and documentation about the new waste treatment plant Cañada Hermosa.

At a press conference, Councilman training, José Ignacio Tornel, has again reminded the obligation of the council to report on these contracts to all local groups, as noted in the Committee on General Affairs on 26 May .

Tornel assured that Ros has failed in its promise to hold a meeting, which would also involve the Department technicians, to provide information on the new plant to political opposition groups.

"Last Friday, June 6, the opening of the extension works of the refuse information or documentation not held. It's about the only invitation we have received." Added Councilman IU-Greens.

He also reiterated his doubts about the implementation of the Local Finance Law Regulatory municipal management of this project.

"We'll have to ask in a concrete way, as we did with EMUASA, if relevant mechanisms have been established from the municipal service Intervention regards to Control and Supervision of the project, as provided in Chapter IV of that law. "

It has shown that the local group known whether the project has even been under the control of the Department of Finance.

Tornel has advanced to the intention of the local group is asking the mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, if it has worked to address the possibility that investment in improving contract concept, given the "unusual amount" that Cespa charge of the City Council .

"We only know two facts: 30 million investment and 350 jobs, but do not know if the investment comes from Cespa or 1,000 million that the City paid to the company under the current cleaning contract since 2011 for 20 years. "

In his view, it is "two very different options."

"As the number of jobs created by this investment, the thing has ended in fiasco. The council has come to recognize 'recruitment' of 350 workers for the redevelopment of the plant, including direct and indirect jobs."

But the final employment commitment is that "25% will increase staff caring for this service until a final roster of 65 workers," according to a city press release, and that involves the creation of 16 jobs, "not the exhibited 350 by Councillor to the four winds. "

Finally, Tornel has held that evidence of the management of this project is that the Governing Board today made the final adoption of the "constructive Expansion Project Treatment Center beautiful Cañada," which opened last week.
