The Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, yesterday received the Gold Badge of the Neighborhood Association of Rosales, which was given by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, in a ceremony also attended, among others, the President of the Municipal Board of El Palmar, Diego López, President of the Association of Residents of the neighborhood, Juan Luis Jiménez Ruiz, councilors of Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache and Planning and Housing, Juan Antonio Bernabé and President of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations Municipality of Murcia, José Luis Marco.

Also, Luis Marín-Abad was distinguished as Neighbor of the Year 2014 and received the plaque commemorating the chairman of the municipal board, Diego López.

The Neighbor Day celebration was attended by over fifty people gathered yesterday afternoon to celebrate a dinner and deliver their distinctions.
