IU-Greens denounced a new episode of Information Hiding government team (06/06/2014)

Councilman IU-Greens in the city of Murcia, José Ignacio Tornel, today denounced a "new episode of Information Hiding" by the government team to local groups.

Tornel has indicated that this time Councilman Cleaning, José Ros, has broken their promise to provide full information and documentation about the project of sewage treatment plant.

The mayor pointed out that Ros was also promised that staff would be at the briefing, so that the information is as complete and detailed as possible.

However, "has spent more than a year of this personal promise and have not been cited to any meeting or received any documentation," added Tornel.

The IU-Greens group has been particularly interested in the economic conditions of the project, "especially in the commitments of each of the parties involved."

"It is normal practice for this type of information and documentation will not flow with all transparency that the public deserves."

Tornel said his group is not aware of the actual investment, or the public part, or the commitments of each party, and the type of management.

Under these conditions, IU-Green is concerned that this project is actually "a gold mine born in a municipal context but without control of municipal bodies."

"Propaganda replace official documents too often and someone determines that the political groups in the City municipal projects we find out by the media."

Tornel Ros denounced the failure in the Committee on General Affairs on May 26, which did not attend the council of Cleanliness.

"We would like to be less angry when asked what he does and, on the contrary, comply with the commitments and obligations that he promised," he concluded.
