To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the creation of the Air Force, the Department of Culture and the General Air Academy have organized a concert to be held in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, in order to make the participants of this event Murcia.

They will perform military marches, classical pieces and pasodobles.

UNIT GENERAL MUSIC ACADEMY AIR

The origins of the Music Unit of the General Air Academy dates back to the creation of the Music of the Air Force between 1940 and 1943.

Since its inception, is Unity Music has had as its primary mission, providing military support musician Student Squadron and Troop, in various activities such as parades, Juras Bandera Delivery Delivery and Rendering Honors to national authorities and foreign.

Parallel to his involvement in the academic ceremonial military has also been requested by civil society for various cultural events.

With over a thousand concerts to his credit, made in different national and international settings and with a wide repertoire, the Music Unit of the General Air Academy has managed to reap great critical and commercial success, thanks to the technical quality and expressive sensitivity offered at his concerts and martial discipline and reflect their parades.

Some of his most notable performances are:

· The concerts at the Conservatory of Murcia, in collaboration with RNE occasion of Armed Forces Day.

· Concert Choir conducted jointly with Fernández Caballero de Murcia, on the occasion of the celebrations of "Air 06".

· Participation in Expo Zaragoza 2008.

· Participation in the International Military Music Festival held in Saumur (France) in June 2009.

· Acts of swearing of allegiance to authorized civilian personnel conducted in different regional and national locations requested by their respective councils.

· Concert held in April 2012 for the Club Taurino of Murcia on the occasion of its 125th anniversary.

· Concert given at the Teatro Circo Murcia in support of "Project Man" in February 2013.

Currently the Music Unit of the General Air Academy is composed of twenty men and women of Troop Professional;

Enlisted twenty graduations Sergeant 1st Brigade, Lieutenant a Senior Chief.

It is headed by Lieutenant José Manuel Castello Musician Sanchez.
