Three Centers for Women participating in the municipality I Amparo Rivelles Theatre Festival, held on 3, 4 and 5 June at the Teatro Bernal.
The theater shows the Centers for Women is an activity that has been going on continuously for over 20 years from 1987 to 2007. Returns this year with the participation of theater groups Xirgu Margarita (Center Women's Carmen), The Nardas (Center for Women Espinardo) and Olea (Center for Women Algezares), and the name of the great actress Amparo Rivelles first winning actress Goya.
Theatre groups culturally enrich its participants and promote the development of intellectual and artistic skills that contribute to eliminating gender disparities favoring the construction of a positive image of women in our society.
The objective of the contest is to show the production of theater workshops for women's associations.
In the 20 editions of the theater shows 120 works are shown, which involved more than 500 women, belonging to 120 theater groups, arising from the Centers for Women.

The theater group of the Center for Women's Barrio del Carmen, born of a theater workshop in 1992, and the following year when first participation in the Exhibition Theatre Centres, in which he has participated eight times .

The theater group The Center Nardas Espinardo Women began to form in 1992 to accommodate the concerns of a group of members.

They have participated seven times in the sample Theatre Centers for Women and organized by the Municipal Cultural Centers, always works claiming the problems of women through humor.
This time they stage a work of Pedro Muñoz Seca to pretend to make the audience laugh.
Olea theater group formed in the Centre for Women 'Victoria Kent' Algezares in 1988. The group has participated in ten times in the Theatre Festival of Women's Centers, always with works of renowned authors such as García Lorca, or mounts own production with the message of the problems of women in society.
Presents 'The sublime decision' by Miguel Mihura, which chronicles the events of the first woman in Spain is integrated into the workplace.
