The rector of the University of Murcia encouraged to connect research with the social environment (26/05/2014)

The convenience of connecting research with the social environment has been highlighted today by the rector of the University of Murcia, José Orihuela, during his speech at the opening ceremony of the First International Seminar on Education and Museum, which is developed in the floor of the Faculty of Arts.

Meanwhile, the regional Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, has promised to Orihuela institutional support of the Governing Council of the Autonomous Region in this stage as rector of the university has just begun.

In the opening act of the principal intervened Seminary Professor Rosa Hervás;

Coordination and the Vice Chancellor for Internationalisation, Bernardo Cascales;

the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Antonio de Pro, and Gaspar Ros exvicerrector Research.

The rector of the University had words of appreciation for the Seneca Foundation, which is involved in organizing the seminar along with Campus Mare Nostrum-Excellence by the impetus given to its activities with the approval of three new programs.

The lesson opening pronounced then has been in charge of the professor of the University of Montreal (Canada) Colette Dufresne-Tasse, who spoke about the determinants for quality research in education and museums.
