The Department of Safety has scheduled a specific safety device on Sunday on the occasion of the European elections.
The tasks related to this election day morning will begin Saturday night, maintaining intensive monitoring at polling body entrusted to the local police in Murcia, with a total of 41.
The aim is to keep these facilities in suitable conditions.
The incidences are seen, should be remedied as soon as possible so that the establishment of polling stations suffer no delay and everything starts as normally.
The different tasks and personnel assigned to them during the celebration of this election are:
- Security at polling: This quest will take effect in 41 polling stations by 82 police officers (41 in the morning and another 41 in the afternoon).
- Support for security and distribution of electoral material: 12 vehicles patrol every turn provide the necessary support to service agents in different polling stations also facilitating the electoral material that may be necessary at any time throughout the day .
In total there will be 48 policemen.
- Other tasks of collaboration, coordination and management: It also maintains a permanent presence and collaboration with the Statistical Service and Electoral Area.
In the central units of Murcia also works a full management team and information, the head of which is the very Body and Head of the controls of the various Working Groups.
All these work another 15 police officers are intended.
- Regular Service expanded to support exceptional work: In the event of incidents of particular relevance lend the necessary support to make the regular police service: 172.
In this way and with specificity, will work for the next Sunday all quiet flows as a total of 145 troops.
They would join them in support roles and, if necessary, make the other 172 Ordinary reinforced Service.
