Start the Feast of the Three Cultures, which runs until Saturday night (23/05/2014)

Consolidated as a great game for tolerance and miscegenation, the Feast of the Three Cultures, which begins tonight and runs through Saturday, with the participation of numerous musicians, singers and dancers from many different countries and cultures who occupy the squares and streets of the city of Murcia from 20 pm on Friday, 23 to 24 am on Saturday May 24.

Flamenco will present in this edition with the brothers and the concert Piñana Three flamingos pa "three cultures, where the singer offers cartagenero adaptation of poems by the three great cultures;

Christian, Arab and Jewish.

The concert will be presented by Antonio Parra, journalist, writer and flamenco.

Sephardic music at the concert will sound the Muzikante Jako, with frantic rhythms where the lute, darbuka, clarinet, double bass and percussion, live in harmony.

The powerful and warm voice sings Jako in the Ladino language, an ancient language of the Iberian Peninsula.

With Balcony Players Band, will fly through the gipsy music and energetic klezmer band, five components from EE.

States and the Netherlands, combine different cultures with a mixture of Jewish and Gypsy folk music creating a rich sound and colorful perfect for dancing on her show Adventures Around the world.

Titled the spirit Cosmopolitan M. Millon Dolar Band group used trumpet, tuba, saxophone and percussion to perform songs from the Balkan, klezmer music and international pop versions.

In this edition there is also room for the fado, which come with the unmistakable strong, sensual and authentic voice of Inês Graça and Foi deus concert.

Inês Graça is an artist that feels authentic character and emotion of each poem expressive singing.

A real treat for the senses of voices, percussion and dance, is what will offer Yimawa in a parade entitled Women of the world.

Yimawa is a band of ten women, among which there are drummers, dancers and singers from Spain, France and Cuba.

The parade will start at 12 noon from the Place de la Cruz, with a tour of the main streets of the city, ending at 14 pm in the Plaza de las Flores.

The klezmer music and international pop versions, is the proposal of M. Million Dollar Band at the two concerts offered during the Feast of the Three Cultures.

The band is always looking for new tunes for 'balkanization' the classics, so we can hear a polka chotis or in their repertoire.

The original interpretation of these songs and its proximity to the public will punctuate the shows.

Violinist and singer Ellika Frisell and kora player only Cissokho, successful duo for years, have joined percussionist Rafael Sida to play music from Sweden, Senegal and Mexico.

A colorful mixture showing strong musical personality of each of the artists.

The Algerian folk Yacine & the Oriental Groove will star in the concert Parabolic.

Yacine is multicultural training who plays electronic music and Algerian folk;

Western pop tunes and Greece;

funk and polyrhythms, creating a landscape of urban sounds.

Jewish culture also have role to Jasmina Petrovic & Muzikanten group.

This training consists of four musicians, the viewer closer to the essence of Jewish music featuring the best-known klezmer and Sephardic music repertoire topics.

Contemporary gospel will star in The Kingdom Choir concert, a unique group of men and women who accept the discipline and coral based spiritual gospel sound.

Cheikh Lô, one of the great rebels of African music, singer-songwriter, as well as a distinguished guitarist, percussionist and drummer, will be responsible for closing the Festival with the show Jam.

The trademark sound of house Lô is a blend of semi-acoustic flavors with music from West Africa and Central Africa, Cuba, and flamenco.

With this eclectic spirit, Cheikh Lô, put the finishing touch to the fifteenth edition of the Festival Murcia Three Cultures.
