The Department of Urban and Infrastructure Quality, directed Ana Martínez Vidal, cleaned the staffs of over a thousand lamps in order that the lighting looks in perfect condition.

These staffs are being painted in addition to posters and other advertising elements glued.

Outdoor Advertising Ordinance of the City of Murcia prohibits billboards pasted on lampposts, so the Department is removing these elements.

Besides cleaning, contaminants are being replaced by streetlights lamps led lighting type, you telegestionadas from the Department, a pioneer project throughout the Region.

With this type of clean lamps are also illuminating historical buildings.
