The City joined its package experiences Weekend (15/05/2014)

The campaign 'A weekend in Murcia worth 4' includes diving, rafting, visit to the Mining Park of La Union, Bullas Wine Route and the spa bath in Murcia, plus two nights hotel, guided tour of the City and Tourist Card from 98 euros

The Department of Tourism launches new tour package, Murcia x4, with the aim of attracting visitors during weekends and holidays, offering two nights for two people, tourist card, guided tour and experience weekend, all from 98 euros.

Councillor for Sport, Youth and Tourism, Miguel Cascales, explained that the campaign slogan is 'A weekend in Murcia worth 4' as several alternatives at an affordable price that will hardly be found in other offered cities.

It will launch an advertising campaign in neighboring regions-Albacete, Alicante and Almería-with brochures, commercials in media landingpage (for web) and vouchers for hotels.

The package includes two nights accommodation with breakfast, tourist card (with free entrance to museums and discounts at various stores), experience weekend (a choice between 5 proposals) and guided tour of Murcia (choice of 4 proposals) to two from 98 euros.

The experiences of the weekend are:

Active-Tourism.

Immersion diving raft and fall by the Segura River

Cultural-Tourism: Mining Park of La Union

Wine-tourism: wine route Bullas

-Health Tourism: Spa Archena

Guided tours for the city to fund visits are:

-Monumental: walking through the main monuments and historic streets of Murcia.

-Gourmet: Murcia discover gastronomy through the bars and restaurants are located in the main squares.

-Bike: bike ride to discover the river Segura and the evolution of Murcia.

-Shopping: a tour of the traditional shops of the historic center.

The hotels participating in this initiative are AC Murcia tourist, Count of Floridablanca, Nelva, NH Amistad, Novotel, Rosa Victoria, Tryp Rincón de Pepe, Sercotel JC1, Silken Siete Coronas, Arco de San Juan, El Churra, Hesperia Murcia, Hesperia , Pacoche, Zenit, Ibis and Campanile.

This campaign is part of the plan Murcia 365 boosting tourism to attract tourists all year round.

Murcia Tourism has launched tourism campaigns abroad-English audience, German and Russian, who lives in the region and surrounding areas.
