Environment organized for this weekend workshop for ecosystems and the Segura river Contraparada (15/05/2014)

Entitled "spring blast Discover Nature in the Segura river," the Department of Environment, directed Adela Martinez-Cache, organized this weekend in Contraparada a family workshop to learn and enjoy nature.

The workshop, which took place on Saturday 17 and is intended for families, seeks to highlight the natural values ​​that appear in the garden and the river environment.

The activity will serve to publicize the Contraparada ecosystems and the River Segura, and participants will enjoy the environment by performing dynamic and family games.

The activity will take 10 to 17 hours.

This activity is part of the information program and environmental awareness of the council, which are aimed at promoting awareness of the average local environment, understanding their values ​​and conservation needs and citizen participation in continuous improvement in a playful and dynamic context.

Moreover, like all weekends and holidays, will remain open Point Environmental Information Majal Blanco, attend visitors who come to the Plaza of the mulberry trees and the environment of the Municipal Forest Park from 9, 30 to 14.30 h., and the new Visitors Center Majal Blanco, in the Nature, Sunday from 9.30 to 14 h.

From the Plaza de las mulberry Tours depart several Little (PR) marked by the city of Murcia in collaboration with the Committee on Trails Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia, so many visitors requesting information for the practice of hiking autonomously in the area.

It also has a lending binoculars during the opening hours to the public.
