Sport, the main protagonist of the Congress of Physiotherapy UCAM (14/05/2014)

Professional clubs like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Getafe CF participate in the Catholic University of Murcia

The Sixteenth National Congress of Physiotherapy, UCAM has started this afternoon with the opening ceremony and the launch of the first papers.

José Luis Martínez, assistant dean of the Degree in Physiotherapy UCAM, and Silvana de Oliveira, president of the Scientific Committee of the conference and professor UCAM, were responsible for presenting the event to all attendees and set the broad outlines of what is be held in the coming days.

Morning presentations will take place in the world of professional football as José Manuel Marin, a member of the Medical Services of Real Madrid and UCAM associate professor, will speak on medical interventions football players and the importance of injury prevention .

At 12:30 hours will be the turn of Esteban Arévalo, physiotherapist Atletico Madrid, which will focus its intervention on their own experiences in football.

Julián Casanova, physiotherapist of the Spanish Tennis Federation.
