The Councillor for the Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, participated this afternoon in the Garden squat Vistabllea activity, organized by the Federation of Neighborhood Associations with the festivity.
The squat gardening is a program of local participation and environmental recovery, with the collaboration and support of the city of Murcia.
This is a public event in which all residents are actively involved in the recovery of public spaces or improving them, planting shrubs or trees, usually native or flower, so that the chosen space is recovered for enjoyment of residents.
The aim with this program is that by participating neighbors directly and when they who made the plantation, since when are considered as an integral part of the space recovered and thereby created a respect for their care and maintenance.
The space chosen Vistabella is a parterre behind the Plaza de Abasto neighborhood.
