More than 60 experts gather in Murcia Mills to celebrate the IX Congress Molinología (09/05/2014)

More than 60 experts and stakeholders in the Molinología from six countries attended the opening hpy IX Molinología Congress held in Murcia, with Los Molinos Rio to host, on 9, 10 and 11 May.

International congresses of Molinología are the national leader in the study of mills and other traditional mills, and accumulated a wealth of research on the ethnographic heritage in the two decades that the Association for the Conservation and Study of the Mills-ACEM-bear promoting them throughout the Spanish geography.

The congress was organized today by Huermur, Association for the Conservation of the Huerta de Murcia, with ACEM for defense, study, protection and dissemination of heritage, especially heritage ethnographic Huerta de Murcia and traditional irrigation network currently endangered.

Researchers, architects, restorers, ethnographers, anthropologists, geographers, historians and others relating to traditional mills specialists are some of the participants in this conference.
