1,321 people found employment in the last month in the town of Murcia, and nearly 3,000 did so from April 2013, which "is a relief and a good thing," Councilman on Employment, Trade and Business Review, José María Tortosa, and allows "increase confidence in consolidating the positive trend we are experiencing."
The decline in the unemployment rate compared to last March stood at 3%.
This percentage doubles -6.46% - with reference to April last year, when there were 45,840 people out of work, according to the Regional Employment and Training.
With regard to procurement, in the last month there have been 1,347, representing an increase of 9.7%.
Currently there are 42,876 people in the village in search of employment, up from 44,197 recorded in March.
