International Film shows and Heritage 2014 focuses on art documentary (02/05/2014)

Murcia City Council takes up the idea of ​​Cinema and Heritage started in 2009 with a conference on the Documentary Art, organized by the University of Murcia in collaboration with the Museum Los Molinos del Rio Stables of Murcia, with the firm intention of offering viewers a space to reflect and enjoy films that combine science communication and artistic creation: films that deal variously recovery, restoration, interpretation and dissemination of cultural goods that make our artistic heritage.

The film has the greatness of our attention and make us very different protagonists of adventures.

One of the most fascinating, which enables the documentary is one that directs the viewer by the criteria, sensitivities, thoughts, questions and results arising from the cultural heritage, art forms that man has created throughout history.

The pure empathy that produces film projection enables better move past or live, even for a few seconds, the world of the artwork and its creator.

All supported by images and words that are further converted to an emotional, unique and different vehicle, where other routes and other views are possible.

Buñuel and narrated by his friends (Carlos Saura, Jean-Claude Carrière) and actors (Michel Piccoli, Carole Bouquet, Angela Molina) world.

Aware of the necessary and urgent task of collecting audiovisual media in the memories of our photographers and staff analysis of his work and that of his contemporaries, the General Department of Promotion of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport decided undertake this project, conducted by José Luis López Linares and Publio Lopez Mondejar, in order to interview a group of professionals who, because of advanced age and the interest of their work, can leave us a valuable oral memory hauls his professional life, essential to reconstruct the outlines of photography in Spain.

The project brings us closer to the experience of these photographers, some of whom never imagined the impact that years later would acquire their jobs.

Since being edited interviews with Rafael Sanz Lobato, Ricard Terré, Toni Catany, Oriol Maspons, Colita and Gonzalo Juanes, continuing the path started, among others, by a cast of photographers who renewed the language of photographic reportage in the 50s as Ramón Masats, one of the great chroniclers of postwar manners, who worked for the most important magazines of the time, and which also includes Cesar Lucas, Enrique Meneses, Ana Muller, Manuel Outumuro, Manuel Barriopedro, Miquel Galmes, Gabriel Carvajal, Pepe Font de Mora, Piedad Island, Eugeni Forcano, Alberto Schommer, Leopoldo Pomes and Virxilio Vieitez.

Video by Carlos Belmonte document concerning the collection FOLITRAQUE (Toys doomsday) artist Angel Haro.Es a series of over one hundred pieces made with different materials meet, which began by chance in a work trip to the Sahara Desert.

Later came other trips in some southern Africa and India.

Also I imported from those places lived up to my study materials that eventually found with other objects inhabiting my job, my house, my walks ....

They are pieces that have appeared around the tables while drying or that have crept between sets of drawings.

Some sprouted in a session, the urge to see emerge from the most precarious: a car, an idol, binoculars.

Others, just born, had to wait days or weeks to find the part that would complete them, or simply allow me understand where they came from.

My sister said to be a travelogue and some of these pieces come from the ancient times of my childhood, but are made yesterday.

It is probable.
