The Community provides a special bus service during the Festival SOS 4.8 to facilitate the mobility of citizens (30/04/2014)

An articulated bus transfer for the first time festival goers from the campground enabled in Monte Romero Stadium at Fairgrounds La Fica

The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General for Transport, Ports and Coasts, nightly specials scheduled bus services to facilitate movilidadde Murcia and visitors and the highest service coverage during the seventh edition SOS 4.8 Festival.

Thus is launched a special operation of special services that are reinforced and extended tours of the five lines of night bus: Owl 55 (Sangonera Green-Murcia), Owl 56 (Zeneta-Murcia), Owl 57 (Corner Beniscornia-Murcia), Owl 58 (Sangonera Dry-Murcia) and Owl 59 (Alquerías-Murcia).

This public transport service for the first time will join a special shuttle bus that directly link the campground enabled in Monte Romero Stadium and the headquarters of SOS 4.8 Festival, located at the fairgrounds in La Fica (May First Avenue , by the Auditorium and Congress Center Victor Villegas), so that citizens are encouraged to use the public transport.

The articulated bus, with capacity for over 100 people, will provide direct service between the Monte Romero Stadium and host the Festival.

The bus will depart the stadium between 17:00 hours and 00:00 hours, with frequency step of an hour, and made the journey back from the stop set at Avenida Primero de Mayo, by the Auditorium, between 17 : 30 and 23:30.

Extended hours

With the celebration of theater, tours of the 5 Owl Bus lines that usually run between Murcia and the main districts of the city, to provide users the arrival to the site will be expanded.

The buses will travel the main strategic points districts, among others, Sangonera la Verde, El Palmar, La Alberca, Zeneta, Torreagüera, Beniaján, Los Garres, Algezares, Beniscornia Corner, La Nora, Guadalupe, Cabeza de Torres, Churra, Sangonera Seca, San Ginés, Stables, Llano de Brujas and Bacons Bridge and main roads suchas the center of Murcia.
