The City of Murcia continues his training to reduce energy consumption (28/04/2014)

Murcia City Council, through the Department of Environment continues with the project to implement policies for energy saving and efficiency SmartSpaces project.

So, Councilwoman Adela Martinez-Cache, met this morning with representatives of the three political opposition groups to give account of monitoring and training activities being carried out since last year 2013.

The project began last year with jobs and training for personnel monitoring of municipal services (equity, recruitment, information, personal, etc..), And will continue taking place throughout the current year.

On April 30, at 12 hours, will be training the political groups of the City of Murcia.

Remember that the SmartSpaces project is part of the development plans and savings policies aimed at maximizing the use of resources of the local public administration through greater control, automation and monitoring of public facilities energy efficiency consume energy, such as public buildings.

With SmartSpaces some of the greatest centers of energy are being provided with the latest technology in order to control their consumption and reduce it by at least 20% over the duration.

It has also influenced the fact that they are some of the most iconic buildings, the best examples of good practice.

Thus, municipal buildings in which they are carrying out actions to reduce energy consumption within the SmartSpaces project are: Town Hall, Square of Spain, City Hall Annex building, building complex Local Police, Fire, and Protection Polygon Civil Infante Don Juan Manuel.
