The Best Cake 2014
New this year will be called a contest to choose the Best Pastel 2014. Participants should prepare a beef meatloaf.
The size, weight and appearance be chosen freely.
10 cakes will be delivered in a white box with no name both inside and outside.
The bases were prepared by the Guild of Confectioners.
They clarified that the delivery will take place in the Moneo building before 12.00 pm on 23 April.
Registration will take a fee of 50.00 euros, which will cover the expenses of the organization.
Pastry Shop
Another of the initiatives proposed this morning by the Mayor House is offering new free courses to enable interested parties to learn how to make meat pies.
The Meat Cake Workshop will be promoted in collaboration with the Department of Employment.
Registration is free.
The course will be held during the 26th, 28th and 29th of April, between 17.00 and 21.00.
The venue for this workshop is the Center for Training and Employment Initiatives of El Palmar (CFIE) located next to Mercamurcia facilities and the Gourmet Market Hall Veronicas.
The course will be taught by different teachers bakers of the city, to be determined by the Regional Association of Pastry Murcia (Arepa).
Participants will free all the raw materials needed to prepare meat pies and discover all of its production processes, from the preparation of the dough and filling his firing, including the art of bare remote that allows preparing the characteristic spiral pastry lid.
