The Department of Urban Quality, directed Ana Martinez Vidal, the program continues with replacement of 997 lights, inefficient and polluting, led other type, out improvements of municipal lighting maintenance contract.
Selected luminaires have been requested by neighbors and agreed with the District Boards.
In this first phase is improved lighting Garden Abenarabi by 40 new staffs, plus eight other type LED lights that have been installed on the facades of the buildings in the street Lepanto replacing the old.
Besides improving the visibility is achieved to reduce power consumption and reduce light pollution produced by previous lamps.
The Department will continue to serve any requests by neighbors or joints for increased light intensity, according to criteria of efficiency, economy and sustainability.
