Llano de Brujas yesterday paid tribute to one of its most beloved and admired neighbors.
The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, discovered that the plate with the name given to the garden Miguel Ángel López Nicolás, situated opposite the CEIP Juan Carlos I, in the street poet Sánchez Bautista.
The event was attended by the honoree, who also wanted to accompany the Councillor for Social Welfare and Health, María del Carmen Pelegrin, Environment, Adela Martinez-Cache, and Sports, Miguel Cascales than the chairman of the Board Municipal, Juan Hernandez, along with members of the same, familiar athlete and numerous residents of the hamlet.
Not the first time the town of Llano de Brujas expresses affection for this athlete, who offered a massive welcome-which also was attended by the Mayor, after winning the bronze medal in the 20 km walk in the Championship World Moscow last summer and his successes with the fifth spot in the London Games and best Spanish athlete, and second in the European Cup.
