The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by the President of the Athletics Club Murcia, Cristina Perez, and the Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, this morning the XXXV Half Marathon "Ciudad de Murcia" and IV 1st round, bringing together in the city to more than 3,500 runners.

The race is organized by the Athletics Club Murcia, with the collaboration of the Sports Department of the City of Murcia.

Regarding participation, athletes run the 3135 Half Marathon and 516 in about first round.

Of these, 516 are women, which is a record of female participation in the Event.

This year there will be in the race with 20 different nationalities.

Similarly, three service areas are prepared:

- Medical Services.

- A small Staf where refreshments are shared among the participants and other gifts.

Prizes for winners

Prizes totaling over € 112,000 (cash, souvenirs, discount vouchers in sports shops, physiotherapy, repair or maintenance of vehicle, etc..).
