The Cabinet has given its approval to an agreement between the Ministry of Public Works and Planning and the concessionaire Passenger Transport, SLU, with the aim of encouraging public passenger transport in Murcia.
Thus, the concessionaire will receive a total amount of 3,595,049 euros to ensure the maintenance of public road transport in the nearby town of Murcia and in the year 2014.
This agreement, which regulates registered grant to said company, which belongs to the group Latbus shall apply in granting MUR 093 (Murcia and surroundings).
This financial support will allow users to continue to have the current configuration of single tickets subsidized in urban and intercity tours and general transshipment bond and bond transfer students.
The concessionaire, for its part, is committed to providing these services in terms of routes, itineraries, tours, expeditions, stops and frequencies established by the Council last September.
In addition, this agreement also facilitates the maintenance of effective management of these lines, as well as quality in the provision of these services transport.
