The Fantasies program that will enjoy the March 12 is comprised of a series of works for orchestra and choir, around a major work, the Suite Cartoons of settled Basque composer in Murcia Javier Artaza Fano, today Professor of Composition the Conservatory of Music "Manuel Massotti Little" from Murcia.

Cartoons Suite was written in its first version in 2002 for the former Aspiring Orchestra Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.

At that time it was played in the Auditorio Victor Villegas and later on a European tour that took her to Disneyland in the summer of that year.

The fond memories of those concerts and concerns of a group of young musicians, former members of the Orchestra in January 2012 brought the proposal to the Murciano Choir "Fernández Caballero," which launched the beautiful project with enthusiasm and dedication.

The work was re on July 10, 2012 in Belluga Festival of the City of Murcia in the "Fantasy" program and for this occasion the composer Javier Artaza conducted a re-orchestration and expanding it by adding numbers that appeared in the first version and the vocal parts of each of the 21 movements are there in the suite.

In this way the work is finally composed for orchestra, mixed choir and children's choir.

This beautiful Suite will be framed by the following works:

Completing a program full of myths, legends and dreams that will give the viewer the chance to travel to a fantastic world.

Choir Murciano Fernández Caballero

The Choir Murciano "Fernández Caballero" celebrates the season presents its 80 years of uninterrupted musical history and is thus the oldest choir Murcia as well as one of our country's history.

In his long career he has had the opportunity to collaborate with leading orchestras and bands like the defunct Band Council of Murcia, the Municipal Band of Córdoba, the Band "La Primitiva" Liria (Valencia), the Band of the Academy of Artillery Segovia, the Music Unit of the General Air Academy in San Javier, the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music of Murcia, Youth Orchestra of the Region of Murcia, Madrid Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of Valencia and Municipal Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.

In recent years the main lines of work have been channeled into OMFC renewal and training of singers, especially children, extending from 2004 to singers sections from 3 years of age.

In the 2010 season starts in the company opening a new path institution orchestral instrumental groups with clear vocation.

Thus was born the first Association of Chamber Choir Murciano "Fernández Caballero" which was presented in December 2010 at the Auditorio Victor Villegas de Murcia with Musical The Star of Bethlehem.

This grouping likewise collaborated Chamber International concerts, always showing great performance quality.

In the 2011 - 2012 increase in instrumental form template finally allowed an orchestral group that was presented to the public for the first time in July 2012 with FANTASIES program.

Currently the OMFC has a total of over 400 members distributed in sections SMALL Choir, Children's Choir, Choir YOUNG, Holder Choir, Orchestra and Training Workshops.

In addition to this in the 2011 - 2012 he began his career with great success in the city of Cartagena with the same lines of work in the city of Murcia.

Since 2000 Margarita Muñoz is Director Head of School Choir Murciano Fernández Caballero.

Entitled Superior in Composition, Conducting, Choral Direction (Thesis Award), Music Pedagogy and Music Theory at the Conservatory of Music "Manuel Massotti Littel" of Murcia.

During his training he has had the opportunity to work with professionals like Jesus Lopez Cobos, Arturo Tamayo, José Miguel Knee, Julio Dominguez, George Hurst, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Robert Houlihan, Denise Ham or Cesar Alvarez, among others.

As a composer he has premiered his works both inside and outside our country.

These include in recent years Stabat Mater or the musical Ramón Messing and The Star of Bethlehem.

He has also collaborated with the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras of Venezuela where he also released his symphonic work musivaria in July 2010.

Since 1996 teaching at secondary education, currently as Professor of Music specializing in IES Cañada de las Eras de Molina de Segura.

Further directed since its inception in 2003, the Bilingual Choir of the center.

Since 2008 he has participated in and coordinated activities usually Cantemus Project: Network School Choirs of the Region of Murcia.

She is Director of the Choir Holder Murciano "Fernández Caballero" since 2000.

"If you think you're alone we do not know"

This is the new campaign launched by the AECC in order to move society programs and services carried out in Spain.

Present in 52 provinces, the AECC has programs of support and assistance to patients and families from the moment of diagnosis, throughout the illness and the end of it.

Other of its pillars is where cancer research, with EUR 14 million committed for this year, is the first private social entity allocates more funds to cancer research.

Finally, awareness campaigns aimed at preventing and early detection of the disease complete the mission of an institution that last year celebrated 60 years of history.

Making a brief review of the activities carried out during 2013, the AECC has increased its performance in care programs for people with cancer and their families and in prevention of the disease.

Thus, during the last year has increased by 69% beneficiaries Primer Impacto, designed to meet the needs of patients and families in the first time of diagnosis, and 15% in demand for psychological care.

To highlight only some data, during the past 2013, the AECC made more than 300,000 supportive interventions and support to patients and families in hospitals throughout Spain.

In regard to prevention programs in children and youth, the AECC has increased by nearly 6.5% in the number of beneficiaries and 5.5% people who have used the free program to quit.

The 2013 has also been characterized aecc social commitment to continue promoting cancer research despite the crisis.

In the past the Scientific Foundation Board of Trustees decided to raise funds for this purpose providing € 4.1 million aimed, first, seven new research projects and, secondly, to the employment stabilization eleven researchers so that they can continue with their work.

The aecc, 60 years experience in the fight against cancer

The AECC is an NPO (Non-Profit), private and declared a public utility that takes 60 years working in the fight against cancer.

The aecc integrates patients, families, volunteers and professionals who work together to prevent, raise awareness, accompany people affected and fund cancer research projects which will allow better diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

Structured in 52 provincial Juntas and present in more than 2,000 Spanish towns, the aecc develops its work through its more than 15,000 employees and 680 volunteers under a philosophy of collaboration with health authorities, scientific institutions and other entities pursuing an end analogous to the association.

This always under the principles of independence, professionalism, transparency and closeness.

At present aecc enjoys great credibility in Murcia society, founded on the transparency of its management, professionalism of the services offered and the selfless efforts of volunteers, reflected in the support it receives from the Public Administration, Business, Media and Citizenship in general.

The Provincial Government of Murcia has, since 1995, the Diploma of Distinguished Service in the Region of Murcia.

The Executive Council of the AECC in Murcia, is chaired by the Hon.

Mr Agustin Navarrete Montoya, from June 1998.

Scientific Foundation of the AECC, funding excellence in cancer research

The aecc remains one of the priority objectives of quality cancer research.

For this purpose the Scientific Foundation was born on October 25, 1971.

The Foundation brings together the social demand for cancer research, funding for public tender programs for scientific and social research.

These programs are aimed at achieving progress in science to improve the future of the sick and their families and to build a scientific structure in Spain, bringing the whole society achievements.

Murcia is located in one of the units of Translational Cancer Research, based at the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
