Nine firefighters who retire after a life dedicated to public service receive the gold badge of Body (06/03/2014)

The City celebrates the feast of St. John of God, patron of Service Firefighting and Rescue.

Last year they made 4,162 performances, half of them because of the fire.

Notable services is 2013 intervention in fires four industries Espinardo, San Ginés, head of Torres and Cobatillas.

Nine Fire Service Fire Fighting and Rescue received the gold badge Corps from the Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, who has delivered them the same occasion of his retirement today.

The ceremony took place in the Hall of City Hall to coincide with the feast of the patron, San Juan de Dios, and was initiated after holding a Mass at the Cathedral.

The protagonists of the event have been recent retirees service workers: Antonio Nicolás Torres (NCO), Mariano Martínez Square (Sergeant), José Andrés López Morales (out), Juan Aguilar Murcia (out), Norberto López Albaladejo (Fireman), Joaquín Ros Alhama (Fireman), Pedro Antonio Garre Illan (Fireman), Joaquín Guerrero Morales ((fireman-driver) and Antonio Sandoval Gallego (fireman-driver).

Throughout the past year, the SEIS services performed 4,162 (3% more than in 2012), of which almost half were fires (1,915).

Also made 453 saves, 603 technical assistance (bilge water, effluent neutralization, ruins and subsidence, shoring, fallen branches, etc..) And attended 1,191 inspections (reviews, reports, prevention, etc..).

1 Head of Service, 2 officers, 5 NCOs, 11 sergeants, 28 corporals, 102 firemen, 44 drivers and 9 operators, with the support of 4 employees as: Currently, 206 people work at the Department of Fire Fighting and Rescue Personal assistant: 1 sports technician, 1 Head of Administration negotiated and 2 administrative assistants.

As for the material, the service has a fleet of 36 vehicles and 11 trailers, of which 9 are urban pumpers, 3 rural pumpers, height 5 vehicles, 2 polisocorros, 2 arms, 4 and 11 light tanks.

CO inhalation dead in Sangonera la Seca.

Mother and daughter are killed by inhalation of carbon monoxide inside a bathroom.

07.03.2013

Fire Beniaján housing, with one death and another person with burns to 15% of the body.

Displaced Means: 3 vehicles.

12.04.2013

Rescue from inside a well in Sierra del Mirabete.

Well, that was about 35 m depth, is approximately in The Bojar.

The rescued had multiple injuries.

Died entrapment in overturning a Fenwick in La Alberca.

Displaced Means: 3 vehicles.

Rescue drowned in the river Segura, next to the Palacio de Congresos Víctor Villegas.
