Students of the School of Art and Design in Murcia collaborate with the Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation in celebration of International Women's Day, 8 March.
Students of Higher Vocational Training Cycle Illustration participated in a contest on the promotion of gender equality and rejection of violence against women.
His works can be seen in the exhibition 'Woman woman was and am', which opens today at the Civic Center of El Carmen.
The first prize went to Juan Diego Gonzálvez Left, second prize to Daniel Cabrara José Castro and the two others have gone into the hands of Isabel Hernández Guillén and Elizabeth Benito Mendoza.
The gifts consist of lots of books.
In this event were presented 17 students with 22 works.
The work has been coordinated by Professors Peter Marti and Helena Ayala Luis García Muñoz.
The jury, chaired by Councilman Equality Policy and Development Cooperation, Alicia Waterman, has been formed by the center's director, Julio Sanchez, Pedro Luis Ayala teachers Marti and Helena García Muñoz, and the city of Murcia coach Lola Balsas.
The School of Art is collaborating with the Department of Women's Hall of Murcia since 2002.
This campaign aims to inform, educate and sensitize the students of the School of gender equality and the prevention and eradication of violence against women through the implementation of practical work on a subject matter of their curriculum.
The exhibition will be open from 6 to 21 March at 10-14 hours and 17-20 hours.
