Relocated seven large trees in the garden of the Malecón (04/03/2014)

The Department of Environment morning start new work that will improve the condition and appearance of the Malecon Garden.

In particular it is the transfer of trees whose transplant is needed for different reasons as they have grown close together, are clogged, hampering ...

Engineers have determined that you have to relocate at the end of the boardwalk garden seven copies of ficus, brachichitos and jacaranda.

This will require the tree with a narrow platform and use a backhoe to remove the root ball.

These works join the initiated few weeks ago with the goal of improving the well-being and provide scenic value to this historic garden.

Thus, only five are to plant 63 trees of 14 different species (Fresno, Fresno odor, Love Tree, Catalpa, Walnut, Persian lilac, poplar, elm, mulberry, Cornicabra, Oak, Moral and Hackberry) under the Woodland Improvement Plan on the Malecon
