The Department of Political Equality and Development Cooperation, directed Alicia Barquero, and Centers for Women and women's associations in the municipality have organized free events to celebrate International Women's Day on 8 March.
The activities are aimed at raising social awareness and training on gender equality and rejection of violence against women.
Under the motto '365 days for equality 'are planned conferences, films, exhibitions and music, among many other things.
In addition, each Center for Women and women's planned activities in their neighborhoods and districts, for members and neighbors in general.
The municipality has 76 Centers for Women in which more than 12,000 women participating, to which the 660 people who are part of women's associations must be added.
Proposals will be developed for more than a month, from 27 February to 30 March.
