The PSOE and IU-Greens claim in plenary for public transport improvements in Aljucer (26/02/2014)

The portavoes PSOE and Izquierda Unida-Green, Pedro Lopez and Esther Herguedas respectively require in plenary on Thursday the PP to urge the Ministry of Public Works to expand the number of services to match them to Ray 18 years that covered the old line 61 (El Palmar-Aljucer-Murcia), thereby improving Ajucer connection with Murcia.

Slightly more than a week ago that the Autonomous Community, in attempt to soften the brutal cuts in public transport lines, expanded the stroke line 18 to give service also neighboring Aljucer but has shown that this patch is completely insufficient "are enabled only six months by Murcia and an irregular schedule that covers only minimally needs," say both bands.

Lopez and Herguedas also require that the Lightning 18 also reaches San Basilio as with the old line 61, and the fleet of vehicles intended for this service to cover all needs to be increased.

"We must remember that Aljucer neighbors have expressed repeatedly demanding a solution to the lack of communication that have been suffering for over a year and the rectification of the Community, yet insufficient, certainly responds to public pressure in the hamlet" , said

Finally, note that both councilors unfortunately Aljucer case is not an isolated event, but the lack of understanding between Camera, Valcárcel and concessionaires goes against the residents of Murcia.

"Today, citizens living in the districts are the ones suffering the most incompetent PP with worse connected with completely inadequate and expensive public transport frequencies", end.
