The UCAM holds a meeting with First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba (20/02/2014)

The Vice Chancellor of University Extension of the Catholic University of Murcia, Antonio Alcaraz, held a meeting last week with the first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel, during the celebration in Havana, the the 9th International Congress on Higher Education 'University 2014'.

The event, held under the slogan "For a socially responsible university ', attended by over 2500 delegates from 43 countries; Antonio Alcaraz, who attended as a representative of the UCAM and provided for the development of the conference' university experience promoting social engagement and volunteering ', has highlighted the Díaz-Canel closeness with which he could discuss different topics.

Notably UCAM has worked in various social and educational initiatives with various Cuban institutions and the local church.
