The Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism, headed by Miguel Cascales, continues to drive and channeling the creativity of young Murcia with the convening of the XXII edition of the contest Creajoven.
The competition is a showcase of new trends in young art, while encouraging young people to develop their more imaginative side.
In addition to the awards, the City encourages the participation of artists in meetings, exchanges, events and artistic events both nationally and internationally, with the aim of promoting the art made in Murcia.
They can participate in the contest youth born in Murcia between January 1, 1984 to December 31, 1998, in the disciplines of Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Visual Arts, Comics, Short Documentary, Photography, Gastronomy, Literature and Music (in the categories of Pop-Rock, Other Trends and Singer Songwriters).
You can also enroll them develop their employment or academic activity during 2013 or 2014 in a study center or township enterprise.
Proposals submitted must not have been awarded any previous event.
Among the novelties of this announcement is that the discipline of music, the same participant may participate in two groups that are always different musical styles.
In addition, groups of more than three components may involve a member of up to 35 years and other than the municipality of Murcia.
As for the discipline of Gastronomy, this edition will have to present their dishes with salted products.
The registration period begins March 3 and closes, depending on the discipline on the following dates:

First, second and third prize, or prize and consolation prizes, depending on the modalities are granted.
The jury for each of the disciplines, chaired by Councilman Miguel Cascales, will be composed of specialists from renowned professional, intellectual, cultural or artistic prestige.
In their ratings take into account creativity, artistry and conceptual innovation.
Miguel Cascales highlighted the successful participation in this event, which has become one of the most important for youth to artistic creation, and recalled that last year 1,300 people attended 33 events including concerts, exhibitions, performances were organized theater, film and culinary shows, with attendances of over 14,000 people.
To participate you must register at the Municipal Youth, C / Reporter Carlos Valcárcel s / n, Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 14 pm, and Monday and Wednesday from 17 to 19 hours.

Concerts, plays, exhibitions, multimedia projections, films and gastronomic exhibition will be organized during the finals of the different artistic disciplines.
