Renault delivers two gasoline engines for students of the Training Center of El Palmar engage in practices (19/02/2014)

The Renault Foundation for Sustainable Mobility has donated two heat engines gasoline vehicle maintenance shop that has the Department of Employment at the Center for Training and Employment Initiatives of the city of Murcia in El Palmar, so that students can do internships with a real motor.

At present they are forming 30 young workers at this center as vehicle maintenance, within the program of Vocational Training.

These are students who dropped out of compulsory secondary education and that through this training will get a professional certificate level 1.

The two donated by Renault engines are manufactured at its factory in Valladolid.

Moreover, in March, 15 people will be included in the classes of the training program for employment, specializing in painting vehicles, will attend a professional certificate level 2.

The charge of Institutional Relations of Renault in Spain, Ernesto Salas and Susana Lopez, Renault dealership in Murcia today visited the training center by the Councillor for Employment, Trade and Business, José María Tortosa, to make delivery of the engines and to give a talk in order to sensitize and motivate students in courses related to Transportation and vehicle maintenance, and Electrical and Electronics.

In the talk highlighted the importance of training and employment opportunities offered to undertake.

The Vocational Training Program of the City of Murcia is intended for 150 youth in the municipality, 16 to 20, who have dropped out of ESO.

Training activities are subsidized by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment with 440,000 euros.

Nine Vocational Qualifications Level 1, in the fields of hairdressing, beauty, business, kitchen, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, power grids, welding and metal construction, and maintenance of vehicles is.

The program of training for employment is scheduled to begin on March 3 and runs through November.

Includes a total of ten courses, with which Professional Certificates Level 1, 2 and 3, are obtained in the fields of electrical, plumbing, cleaning, cooking and catering, vehicle painting, organic farming, microenterprise development and energy efficiency buildings.

150 students participate / as 16 to 65, who will also get training in basic level German.
