Free flights for the natural environment and history of the Visitor Center San Antonio the Poor (16/02/2014)

The Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism has launched several ecotourism routes in order to raise awareness of the natural heritage and history of the Visitor Center San Antonio el Pobre, located in the El Valle-Carrascoy Regional Park and surroundings.

The visits scheduled by the Murcia mountaineer Miguel Ángel García Gallego, will take place during March, April and May for free.

There are routes for adults and children, for the caves and the landscape where the first hermits lived in this area.

To register you must call 968379653, from Tuesday February 18, from 10 am to 17 pm.

All tours depart from the Visitor Center of San Antonio's poor, at 10 hours.

Participants will need to bring a backpack with water and food (sandwich, fruit, nuts), appropriate footwear for walking in the mountains, comfortable clothing and sun protection (sunglasses and hat).

The routes planned for adults are:

-The last hermits, March 2.

2 hours, easy.

Nordic-Walking the path of birds, 30 March.

2 hours, easy.

A great opportunity to get started in this type of walk with canes practicing thousands of people in Europe.

Arab-Murcia, May 4.

2 hours, easy.

From the chapel you reach the Arab Castillo de La Luz, old military fortress of the eleventh century.

The routes are planned for children:

-The path of the hermits, March 15.

Duration 1.30 hours easy.

-Day Silk in San Antonio, April 5.

Duration 1.30 hours easy.

-Birding in San Antonio, May 17.

Duration 1.30 hours easy.
