A document preserved in the Municipal Archives of Murcia, dated in 1602, which reflects the development of a witch trial is the subject of the book published by the University of Murcia, in which the importance of the written word is valued to recover voices from another time.
The play, "The righteousness of the Marqués de los Vélez, a lawsuit by witchcraft," was written by Dr. of Philology by this educational institution and Secondary teacher María Dolores Rodríguez Boluda.
The author claims that the study of this manuscript is to contribute to the reconstruction of the history of our language, to make it accessible to the research community.
He adds that their worth lies mainly in the numerous testimonies provided, and the characteristics of the neighbors that issue to testify in the lawsuit.
Moreover, the University has also published works: "Narratives of the drill," Jesus Montoya, "Meditation on the current city" by Rafael Garcia Sanchez, and "Initiatives CSR in the Region of Murcia", edited by the Chair directed by Professor Marin Longinus.
