Murcia will feature a tour bus (02/02/2014)

The Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism will launch a bus tour to provide a service to tourists visiting Murcia.

The Board of Governors approved the statement of adminitrativas clauses for companies to submit their proposals.

The bus will have the panoramic roof and accessible (platform and ramps), shall be equipped with translation systems in at least four languages, English being compulsory.

All seats in the bus will be seated and have POS (point of sale terminal for managing tickets) and dataphone for payment by credit card.

The bus will tour the historic town landmarks and neighborhoods such as El Carmen, San Anton and San Andrés.

When evaluating the bids, the City Council will consider the design of the bus, which is powered by friendly media environment, the variety of languages ​​that visitors, frequency and times offered, and possible discounts for users the Tourist Card.

The launch of the tour bus is part of Murcia Revitalization Plan 365, to improve the tourism infrastructure of the municipality and offer more services to visitors, with the aim of attracting tourists 365 days a year.
